Hello!

MY NAME IS PRIYANKA

I’m a published author, independent journalist and communications consultant. My journey began as a three year old, when my mother handed me empty administrative journals she had lying around the house and encouraged me to try writing out the stories I would constantly share. As a child, I wrote about siblings solving mysteries in Egyptian pyramids and young girls having adventures in what my adult self would call an Indian-inspired historical-fantasy setting.

Developing that skill and love for writing over two decades, I pursued my BA in Film & Media Studies at Tufts University and earned my MA in New Arts Journalism from the School of the Art Institute of Chicago. My work has been published in PURIST, F Newsmagazine, MyIndMakers, Inside the Magic, ParentEdge and more.

A true lover of the written word, with an insatiable curiosity for learning (inherited from my parents), I have written about a variety of topics, whether it’s repatriation and restitution of Indian murtis from Western museums or strategic decisions at The Walt Disney Company. My debut poetry collection, Imagined Dreams and Forgotten Futures, marks the next step in my journey, and it pays homage to the experience and aspiration of unconditional love.

Over the years, this love for writing expanded beyond personal storytelling into journalism, brand communication, and strategic content creation. Today, I collaborate with individuals and businesses to help them refine their voice, clarify their messaging, and tell their stories effectively. From refining companies’ social media and digital presence to supporting individuals with their written and spoken projects, I have worked with students and professionals all over the world.

My Impossible List

What is an Impossible List?

An Impossible List isn’t just a bucket list. It’s a living, evolving challenge to myself. The term comes from Joel Runyon, who described it as a way to keep pushing boundaries, stepping outside your comfort zone, and never settling. That constant drive for growth, learning, and new experiences is something I try to bring into every part of my life—personal and professional. To that end, this is my ever-evolving Impossible List, a mix of dreams, goals, and challenges, including ones that once felt impossible.
